Each day of our school builds directly on the last, you will continue to work on the skills you learned on Day one and learn a variety of new techniques. Day two takes place on either our South or North End slalom and skidpad training areas using our fleet of Ford Fiestas and also introduces all-wheel drive through our Subaru Imprezas.
Throughout the day you will work on fast, medium and slow corners, pendulum turns, adapting to AWD, decreasing and increasing radius corners and uphill and downhill corners.
With the addition of more vehicles, more techniques, and more terrain on the second day, the smiles-per-mile ratio is off the charts, and of course you’ll learn critical skills that will be there with you when you need them in the real world. Click here to view a short video
You will learn techniques such as:
- Perfecting throttle and left foot braking inputs
- Fast, medium, and slow speed corners
- Driving at speed in diverse conditions
- Dynamic side-to-side as well as front-to-rear weight transfer
- Pendulum turns (Scandinavian Flick)
- Front wheel drive and all-wheel drive vehicles
- Uphill and downhill corners
- Blind corners
- Decreasing and increasing radius corners
Our courses include use of our fully prepared rally cars, all required safety equipment, personalized course handbook, damage coverage on our vehicles, lunch/drinks/snacks, and certificate upon course completion.
